Water Filtration System Installation at Vidya Vimukthi Viharaya

We completed the installation of a water filtration system at Vidya Vimukthi Viharaya in Kumburupitiya, Kuchchaveli, in the Trincomalee District of Sri Lanka.

This project helped provide access to clean and safe drinking water for the temple, supporting the daily needs of the Buddhist nuns and visitors.


Project Overview

This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Uthsarpani Lanka Foundation, focusing on a practical need within the temple.

The installed filtration system now provides a reliable source of clean water for everyday use.


Project Highlights

The water filtration system was installed inside the Vihara and connected for daily use. The installation was completed successfully and the system is now operational.

Project Support

This project was supported through a grant of LKR 63,900, approximately USD 210, for the purchase and installation of the water filtration system and related materials.
